**1. Rental Period**
The rental period is calculated on a 24-hour basis. Any extension of the rental period must be agreed upon in advance and may incur additional charges.

**2. Driver Requirements**
All drivers must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license held for a minimum of two years. An international driving permit may be required for foreign drivers.

**3. Payment**
Full payment must be made at the time of rental. Accepted forms of payment include major credit cards and cash. A security deposit may be required.

**4. Insurance**
The rental vehicle includes basic insurance coverage. Additional coverage options are available and can be purchased at the time of rental. The renter is responsible for any damage not covered by insurance.

**5. Fuel Policy**
The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank, refueling charges will apply.

**6. Mileage Allowance**
There is no mileage limit for the rental. Enjoy unlimited mileage with your rental vehicle.

**7. Vehicle Condition**
The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when rented, with no excessive wear and tear. Any damage or missing equipment will be charged to the renter.

**8. Use of Vehicle**
The vehicle is to be used for lawful purposes only. It is prohibited to use the vehicle for racing, towing, or transporting illegal goods. Smoking in the vehicle is strictly prohibited.

**9. Breakdown and Accidents**
In the event of a breakdown or accident, the renter must contact AutoRent immediately. Instructions for roadside assistance and accident procedures will be provided at the time of rental.

**10. Cancellation Policy**
Cancellations made within 3 days of the rental start time may incur a cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged the full rental amount.

**11. Personal Belongings**
AutoRent is not responsible for any personal belongings left in the vehicle. Please ensure you have all your items before returning the vehicle.

**12. Legal Compliance**
The renter agrees to comply with all local traffic laws and regulations. Any fines or penalties incurred during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter.
