It is a small town located to the east of the city of Agadir, along the valley of Souss which is very fertile. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides, the High Atlas to the North and the Anti Atlas to the south and east. To the west is the Atlantic Ocean. This city is known since the 11th century because of its history which was very eventful due to its revolts against the dynasties that took over in Morocco.
